These Arabic rhythms are commonly used in belly dance music, but they can be somewhat confusing at first. In this workshop, you will develop a thorough understanding of each rhythm, not only intellectually, but more importantly, I will teach how to feel each rhythm in your body. We will be dancing a lot!

Please note that I will not be teaching finger cymbals (zills) at this workshop. The focus of this workshop is to feel the rhythms in your body. Feeling the rhythms in your body will greatly enhance your finger cymbal playing.
